UAE thrash Yemen 4-0 in Gulf Cup group stage

The UAE national football team claimed a comprehensive 4-0 win over Yemen on Thursday in their Gulf Cup group stage clash.

The Emirati side dominated the match from the outset, controlling possession and creating several chances before Nicolas Jimenez opened the scoring in the 26th minute.

The UAE doubled their lead through an own goal by Yemen defender Nader Sahel, before Luanzinho added a third in stoppage time (45+4), sending the teams into halftime with Yemen trailing by three goals.

After the break, the UAE maintained their attacking momentum, with Nicolas Jimenez netting his second and the team's fourth in the 51st minute. The Emiratis continued to dominate until the final whistle, sealing a convincing 4-0 victory.
