Gulf Football Federation unveils new identity and official name

The Gulf Football Federation has entered a new phase by unveiling a refreshed visual identity and officially adopting its new name, "Gulf Football Federation," replacing the previous "Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation." The move aims to strengthen its institutional presence and keep pace with the rapid development of football in the Gulf region.

This step is part of a strategic vision to establish the federation as a leading sports platform and to build a unified institutional identity that reflects the ambitions of Gulf football, bringing together its various activities under one umbrella.

The federation explained that the new logo embodies values of confidence, dynamism, and modernity, drawing inspiration from the region's identity and cultural heritage. It features a dynamic ribbon symbolizing movement and fluidity in football, representing connection, trust, harmony, and shared ambition, in line with the federation's future direction.

Gulf Football Federation President Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani said: "We are at a pivotal moment in our growth, and it is essential to embrace a new identity that reflects the transformational journey we are preparing to undertake in the coming decades."

He affirmed the federation's commitment to elevating Gulf football and supporting the success of Gulf national teams and clubs on the global stage.

He added: "In recent years, we have built strategic partnerships that have supported the progress of Gulf football, enhanced the growth of our competitions, and strengthened their status, reflecting the region's growing passion for the sport and paving the way for new horizons of excellence and success." He wished further success to member associations and praised their role in supporting the federation since its inception.
