Real Madrid set €160m price tag for Vinicius Jr. amid Arsenal interest

The future of Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr. has entered a decisive week, with uncertainty continuing over his stay at Real Madrid amid ongoing tensions between the player and the club.

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Real Madrid, led by club president Florentino Perez, has set a firm and final asking price of €160 million for any club seeking to sign Vinicius Jr.

The same source stated that Real Madrid will not enter negotiations with any club offering less than this amount, adding that the club is considering a deal structure that includes a fixed fee plus performance-related add-ons and bonuses tied to titles won.

Vinicius Jr.’s contract with Real Madrid runs until 2027, meaning he could leave for free after that. However, the club’s management is determined to maximize any potential return should they decide to sell him.

Player demands and club interest

Previous reports have indicated that Perez has been frustrated by Vinicius Jr.’s repeated demands during contract renewal talks, particularly his request for a €15 million signing bonus.

Meanwhile, The Athletic has reported that English club Arsenal is among the leading contenders interested in signing the Brazilian striker and is actively exploring the possibility of a move in the near future.

Real Madrid will reportedly be forced to consider offers next week if no agreement is reached with Vinicius Jr. on a contract extension.
