Al-Mohamadiyah ascent to decide 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb champions

Al-Mohamadiyah in the Al-Shafa area of Taif is preparing to host the third and final round of the 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship, scheduled from July 31 to August 1. The event is organized under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, managed by Bakhashab Motorsport, in partnership with Jameel Motorsport as the official partner and Brandship as the strategic partner for the 2026 season.

Attention is turning to the decisive round following intense competition in the second round, where Mamoun Amro Al-Qabbani claimed his second consecutive victory and set a new record for the Al-Mohamadiyah course with a time of one minute, 42.301 seconds. Faisal Sufyan Al-Qabbani finished second, while Rabee Moayyad Al-Aawar took third place, intensifying the race for the season titles.

The round will feature competitions across ten categories, in addition to the Women's Cup, on a 4.2-kilometer course with 30 turns. The route climbs from 1,900 meters to about 2,150 meters above sea level, presenting technical challenges that demand high driving skill and precision in navigating the corners.

The program includes official practice sessions followed by four competitive races. Final results will be determined by the sum of each competitor’s two best times, keeping the contest open until the very last attempts.

The final round marks the decisive stage of the 2026 season, where overall and category champions will be crowned. Since its launch in 2017 and its move to Taif in 2023, the championship has continued to promote hill climb motorsport and reinforce Taif’s status as a leading destination for motorsports in the Kingdom.
