Bahrain football team arrives in Jeddah ahead of Gulf Cup 27

The Bahrain national football team has arrived in Jeddah to prepare for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, known as "Gulf Cup 27," which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia from September 23 to October 6.

The team was welcomed at King Abdulaziz International Airport by representatives of the tournament's organizing committee. Arrival procedures were completed smoothly before the delegation moved to their accommodation, where they will begin the final phase of preparations ahead of the competition.

Bahrain will conduct its training program in Jeddah in readiness for its matches in the tournament. Other Gulf teams are also arriving in the city, with delegations from Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Yemen, Bahrain, and Iraq already in Jeddah. The United Arab Emirates team is expected to arrive in the coming days, completing the lineup of participating nations.

Jeddah is undergoing intensive preparations to host the Gulf Cup for the first time in its history, with organizational, technical, and logistical arrangements in place to welcome the sporting event, which brings together teams from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, as well as Iraq and Yemen.
