Saudi Minister of Sports Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal has mourned the passing of young fencer Youssef Anis Al-Duhaim, who died after suffering a sudden health crisis before his team’s training session at Al-Noor Club in Sanabis, Qatif province.
Writing on his account on X, Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal said: "May God have mercy on the young player Youssef Al-Duhaim and grant him paradise. My sincere condolences and sympathy to his family, loved ones, and the entire sports community. We belong to God and to Him we shall return."
Youssef Al-Duhaim, 16, had arrived at Al-Noor Club as usual and completed his warm-up exercises. As he began changing into his training gear, he suddenly collapsed on the ground.
Immediate efforts were made to resuscitate him, but he passed away.
Al-Duhaim was from Safwa in Qatif province, Eastern Region, and was a member of Al-Noor Club’s youth fencing team.

Al-Noor Club also mourned their late player, offering condolences to his family, friends, and teammates, and praying for God’s mercy and for strength for his loved ones.
