Saudi national football team begins Gulf Cup training camp in Jeddah

The Saudi national football team will launch its training camp in Jeddah today, Thursday, in preparation for the 27th Gulf Cup, which will run from September 23 to October 6.

Players are scheduled to arrive at the camp headquarters tomorrow evening, while Al-Ahli players will join on Sunday, September 20, after completing their participation with their club in the FIFA 2026 Confederations Cup.

The Green Falcons will begin their training program tomorrow evening with a closed session at the training grounds of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, with no media access permitted.

Saudi Arabia will open its Gulf Cup campaign against Kuwait on Wednesday, September 23, then face Oman on Saturday, September 26, before concluding the group stage against Iraq on Tuesday, September 29.

The Green Falcons are in Group A alongside Kuwait, Oman, and Iraq, while Group B features Qatar, the UAE, Yemen, and Bahrain.
