Bayern Munich defeat Borussia Dortmund to win German Super Cup

Bayern Munich claimed the German Super Cup title with a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern's goals came from Nathaniel Brown in the 29th minute and Michael Olise in first-half stoppage time (45+2), while Fabio Silva scored for Borussia Dortmund in the 75th minute.

The match also saw Borussia Dortmund's Ramy Bensebaini sent off in the 90th minute.

With this win, Bayern Munich secured their second consecutive Super Cup title and their twelfth overall, extending their record. They now lead Borussia Dortmund, who are second on the all-time winners list, by six titles. Dortmund's last Super Cup triumph was in 2019.
