Communications minister visits Armah Sports, reviews digital transformation initiatives

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Al-Swaha visited the headquarters of Armah Sports, the owner of Optimo and Be Fit clubs, where he was received by CEO Fahad Al-Haqbani and several company executives.

During the visit, the minister was briefed on the company’s key technology initiatives and digital solutions aimed at developing its business. He listened to a presentation on Armah’s digital transformation journey and the technology projects that enhance operational efficiency and improve the subscriber experience, as well as future plans to advance digital services and adopt modern technologies in the fitness sector.

Al-Swaha praised the company’s progress in adopting technological solutions, affirming the ministry’s support to enable Armah to seize opportunities and strengthen cooperation to accelerate innovation and digital transformation. He also encouraged Al-Haqbani and the executive team to expand the technological experiences of Optimo and Be Fit clubs to global markets, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the fitness and related technology sectors.

For his part, Al-Haqbani said the minister’s visit is an incentive to continue investing in modern technologies and innovation. He highlighted the importance of public-private partnership in supporting digital transformation, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to improved service quality, enhanced subscriber experience, and establishing the Kingdom as a leading center for innovation in the fitness and advanced technology sector.
