The local organizing committee for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup football tournament has prepared a comprehensive media guide for journalists covering the event, which will be hosted in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6, 2026. The guide serves as a unified reference, providing media representatives with essential information and facilitating their access to dedicated services and facilities throughout the tournament.

The committee has distributed the guide to all registered journalists, offering extensive details about the tournament, the eight participating teams, match schedules and venues, as well as information to help journalists familiarize themselves with the event and its program from the moment they arrive in Jeddah.

The guide explains available media services at stadiums, locations of media centers, work areas for journalists and photographers, schedules for press conferences and media activities, and procedures for entry, exit, and movement within designated media zones. This is designed to help journalists organize their daily tasks during the competition.

It also includes details on transportation services, dedicated buses for journalists, their schedules, and pick-up and drop-off points, along with operational information and guidelines for moving between tournament sites, making the guide a practical reference throughout the event.

Beyond match-related content, the guide features an introduction to Jeddah, highlighting its main attractions and destinations, as well as information and services to help both local and international journalists make the most of their stay in the city.

Through QR codes, the guide enables journalists to access a range of media materials from anywhere, including live broadcasts, photos, and videos related to the tournament. This allows media representatives to follow and utilize available content in their coverage, whether they are in Jeddah or elsewhere.

Mohammed Qenan Al-Ghamdi, head of the local media committee for Gulf Cup 27, stated that the guide was created as part of a comprehensive media experience that begins before journalists arrive at the match venue and continues throughout their time at the tournament.

Al-Ghamdi said: "Journalists are key partners in the success of the tournament, bringing its stories and atmosphere to fans. With over 600 journalists registered so far, the level of interest is clear. We have worked to provide everything they need to perform their duties, including access to live coverage, photos, and videos through the guide, enabling them to use these resources in their reporting from anywhere."

He added: "We look forward to media coverage that reflects the significance of the Gulf Cup for fans across the region, sharing the stories and atmosphere both on and off the pitch. The media is a partner in presenting this edition to the public, and the accompanying coverage highlights the unity and camaraderie among Gulf nations, helping to convey the spirit of the tournament to audiences."

These services are part of the committee's preparations to provide a fully equipped media environment during the tournament and to support media representatives in meeting their needs, ensuring smooth coverage of Gulf Cup 27 across all platforms.

The tournament will feature eight Gulf teams competing in 15 matches at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium. To view the media guide: https://emediahub.net/MIG-Khaleeji%2027.pdf.
