Neom stun Al-Hilal with two-goal first half in Roshn League clash

Neom finished the first half with a 2-0 lead over Al-Hilal in their ongoing Roshn Saudi League match on Monday evening, part of the competition's sixth round.

Neom took the lead in the 15th minute when Kalidou Koulibaly scored an own goal, before Amadou Koné doubled the advantage with a second goal in the 45th minute, sending Neom into the break with a comfortable lead.

Al-Hilal were forced into a late change before kickoff, as Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou withdrew from the starting lineup after experiencing pain in his hamstring during the warm-up.

Mohammed Al-Owais started in goal in Bounou's place, while Mohammed Al-Rubaie was named among the substitutes.

Al-Hilal currently top the Roshn League table with a perfect record from their first five matches, three points ahead of Al-Nassr and Al-Qadsiah. Neom entered the fixture in seventh place with nine points from three wins and two defeats.
