Crown Prince's patronage key to camel racing success, says Fahd bin Jalawi

Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Chairman of the Saudi Camel Federation, expressed his gratitude to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on the occasion of the launch of the eighth Crown Prince Camel Festival in Taif.

In a statement, he noted that the generous patronage and unlimited support of the Crown Prince are the main pillars and driving force behind all the achievements and significant progress seen in camel racing in Saudi Arabia. This support, he said, has made the festival the largest and most prominent event of its kind in the world.

The federation chief also praised the ongoing oversight and commitment of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, for ensuring all resources and means are provided to guarantee the excellence and continuous development of the federation’s events.

He affirmed the Saudi Camel Federation’s pride in overseeing the organization of this major festival, which bears a name dear to all Saudis, and its commitment to delivering an exceptional edition worthy of the Crown Prince’s patronage. He added that the federation aims to preserve and develop this rich heritage to the highest standards, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to strengthen cultural identity and enhance the Kingdom’s leadership in international sports.
