The eighth round of the Saudi First Division kicks off on Monday, opening with a top-of-the-table clash between Al-Zulfi, currently second, and league leaders Al-Ula. Both teams are aiming to extend their unbeaten runs and avoid a first defeat of the season.

Al-Ula leads the standings with 18 points from six matches and has a game in hand. Al-Zulfi follows with 13 points from seven games, also unbeaten this season with three wins and four draws. They are the only two teams yet to lose a match this campaign.

Also on Monday, Damac faces Al-Tai, with both sides looking to bounce back from defeats in the previous round. Damac lost 3-0 away to Al-Najma, while Al-Tai suffered a heavy 6-1 defeat at Al-Wehda. Damac sits tenth with nine points, while Al-Tai is eighth with ten points.

In a much-anticipated Qassim derby, seventh-placed Al-Raed, with ten points, hosts Al-Saqr, who are twelfth with seven points.

The round continues on Tuesday, with Hajer meeting Al-Najma, Al-Orobah hosting Al-Bukayriyah, and Al-Adalah visiting Al-Okhdood.

Hajer missed the last round after their match against Al-Orobah was postponed. They are sixteenth with six points, while Al-Najma is fifth with ten points.

Al-Orobah, twelfth with seven points and a game in hand, seeks a second win of the season against Al-Bukayriyah, who are eighteenth with just two points.

Al-Adalah and Al-Okhdood both come into their match after draws in the previous round. Al-Adalah is ninth with nine points, while Al-Okhdood sits fourteenth with seven points.

The round concludes on Wednesday with Al-Jeel facing Al-Jandal, Al-Anwar hosting Al-Wehda, and Jeddah taking on Al-Jabalain.

Al-Jeel is still searching for their first win and hopes to achieve it against Al-Jandal, who are four points ahead. Al-Jeel is seventeenth with two points and a game in hand, while Al-Jandal is fifteenth with six points.

In a strong matchup, Al-Anwar hosts Al-Wehda, who are coming off the biggest win of the season so far after defeating Al-Tai 6-1 last round. Al-Wehda is fourth with eleven points, just one ahead of sixth-placed Al-Anwar, who have ten points.

Al-Jabalain visits Jeddah aiming for another win to strengthen their position near the top. Al-Jabalain is third with twelve points, while Jeddah, eleventh with eight points, hopes to end their recent run of dropped points and close the gap to the leaders.
