The 3rd edition of the Saudi Games for 2024 will take place from October 3 to 17, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Games Organizing Committee announced.
On this occasion, Minister of Sports, Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) and the Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, said that holding of such games confirmed the great and unremitting support being provided by the wise leadership for the sports sector.
This unlimited support has significantly contributed to make unprecedent progress in many various games, the minister added.
The games serve as a significant economic contributor, with the previous edition generating SAR750 million in economic activity, offering prizes exceeding 260 million riyals, and facilitating the creation of 478 jobs.
The Saudi Games constitute a notable event that plays a pivotal role in achieving the objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030 and positioning the Kingdom as a leading international sports destination.
