Al-Shabab signs Roger Martinez, completes foreign player roster

Al-Shabab has finalized its foreign player quota for the upcoming season after announcing the signing of Colombian striker Roger Martinez from Al-Taawoun during the current summer transfer window.

The deal follows negotiations between Al-Shabab and Roger Martinez in recent weeks, with the club's management securing the Colombian forward's move to the team.

Al-Shabab announced on its official X account that it has signed Martinez on a one-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year. The club stated: "The club's management, represented by Chairman Abdulaziz Al-Malik, has signed Colombian player Roger Martinez on a one-year deal with an option for a further year."

The club added in its post: "We wish Roger every success in his upcoming journey with Al-Shabab."

With the addition of the Al-Taawoun striker, Al-Shabab has now filled all available foreign player slots and will not be able to sign any more foreign players during the current summer transfer window before the season begins.
