Arsenal sign Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães on four-year deal

Arsenal announced on Saturday that they have signed Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United on a four-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year.

The London club said that Guimarães, 28, will join the squad to strengthen the midfield for the upcoming season.

Guimarães joined Newcastle in January 2022 and made 195 appearances for the club, scoring 31 goals.

Arsenal are looking to bolster their squad with several new signings in preparation for domestic and European competitions in the 2026-2027 season.
