Al-Taawoun and Al-Fateh play out goalless draw in Roshn League

Al-Taawoun and Al-Fateh extended their poor runs in the Saudi Pro League after their match ended in a goalless draw on Saturday evening at Al-Taawoun’s home ground, as part of the fifth round of the competition.

Al-Taawoun suffered a major setback in the 66th minute when Younes Bahrawi was sent off, forcing the team to play the remainder of the match with ten men. Despite the disadvantage, they managed to keep a clean sheet and secured a single point.

The draw raised Al-Taawoun’s tally to 3 points, placing them 14th in the standings, as they failed to secure a win for the fifth consecutive match since the start of the season.

Al-Fateh also could not break their negative streak, settling for a draw that brought their total to 3 points, leaving them in 16th place on the table.

Both teams will continue their campaigns in the sixth round, with Al-Taawoun facing Al-Hazem and Al-Fateh taking on Al-Diriyah.
