Saudi Public Investment Fund Sponsors the World Heavyweight Boxing Title

The PublicInvestment Fund (PIF) is set to sponsor the first world heavyweight title fightto be hosted in Saudi Arabia, set for December 7th at the Diriyah Arena inRiyadh as part of the Diriyah Season.

Officiallytitled the 'Clash on the Dunes presented by the Public Investment Fund(PIF)', the championship bout will see Anthony Joshua challenge reigning worldheavyweight titleholder Andy Ruiz Jr. Joshua lost his WBO, WBA, IBF and IBObelts to Ruiz when the pair first met at New York's Madison Square Gardenin June of this year.

PrinceAbdulaziz Bin Turki AlFaisal Al Saud, Chairman of the General SportsAuthority, said: "I am delighted to welcome PIF as a sponsor of this iconicevent being staged for the first time in the Kingdom.
