Minister of Education Dr. Hamad bin Mohammad Al Al-Sheikh received here today the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Iwai Fumio.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of public and university education as well as scientific research, and exchanged joint experiences and expertise.
They also discussed areas of scientific and educational cooperation among universities and research centers of the two countries, scholarships provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Japanese students, and activating the memorandum of scientific cooperation reached between the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan.
