Saudi Border Guards' ship of Al-Laith managed to evacuate a 34-year old Chinese national sailor, with a broken right hand, from on a maritime ship's deck, to the north of Jeddah Islamic, in the Red Sea.

In a statement announced here today, the Official Spokesman of the Saudi Border Guards Lt. Col. Missfir bin Ghannam Al-Quiraini pointed out that the Search and Rescue Coordination Center, at the Guards has received a call from the captain of a ship navigating from a US port of Charleston destined to a port in Vietnam, bearing a Hong Kong flag, on an illness case of a sailor, who stands in need for evacuation.

Consequently, the center has managed to pinpoint the position of the ship, in order to carry out the evacuation operation, immediately. The novel coronavirus free sailor was transported to a Saudi hospital as all precautionary and necessary medical measures were taken. His condition is stable, now.
