Under the wise directives of Custodian of the Two HolyMosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammedbin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister ofDefense, patronized here today the signing ceremony of Riyadh Agreement betweenYemeni Legitimate Government and Southern Transitional Council.
The deal was officially signed in the presence of SaudiCrown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, UAE's Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh MohamedBin Zayed, Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, President of the STC Aidarusal-Zoubaidi, alongside other Arab and Western officials and ambassadors.
The 'Riyadh Agreement' reached between the Yemeni governmentand the Southern Transitional Council is seen as the result of a sincere andgreat effort exerted by Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammedbin Salman, who officially announced the deal.
The Saudi Crown Prince stated that the Kingdom is keen onseeing the unity and stability of Yemen, adding that their aim is to supportthe Yemeni people and face foreign interference in their internal affairs, andheal the rift between the Yemeni parties.
In a positive reaction to the historic agreement, the UnitedNations Special Envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths congratulated the Governmentof Yemen and the Southern Transitional Council on reaching an agreement on theway forward.
