The French government awarded the Saudi Ambassador to France Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari the "National Merit with the rank of Senior Officer" in recognition of his efforts to support and strengthen relations between the Kingdom and France.
The medal was handed over to Al-Anqari by Christophe Varno , Director General of the Middle East and North Africa Department on behalf of the President of the Republic of France Emmanuel Macron, during a farewell ceremony held for Al-Anqari to mark the end of his tenure as ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to France.
