The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association concluded today its participation in the 42nd World Scout Conference.

The conference was held virtually with the participation of more than 2,300 scouts representing 170 National Scout Organizations from all over the world. The conference was the largest in the history of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation took part in all the activities of the conference. It voted on the main decisions that will shape the future direction of the scout movement for the 2021-2024 triennium.

It also participated in workshops focusing on membership growth, environmental action, diversity and inclusion, child and youth protection, as well as Scouting's youth-led contribution to peace and sustainable development through educational initiatives such as Messengers of Peace, Scouts for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Earth Tribe.

The delegation participated in a virtual exhibition space that offered Member Organizations and other key partners a chance to showcase their good practices, programmes and events.
