Traffic authority to launch online license plate auction Sunday via Absher

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Traffic will launch its electronic license plate auction on Sunday via the Absher platform, offering interested buyers the chance to purchase and bid on special license plates online.

The authority announced on its official X account that participation in the auction requires logging into Absher, selecting “My Services,” then “Traffic,” and finally choosing the “Electronic License Plate Auction” service.

Once in the service, users can select the type of vehicle plates, after which the available plates for online bidding will be displayed.
