Border Guard in Asir arrests citizen for smuggling 44kg of khat

Saudi Border Guard land patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested a citizen for attempting to smuggle 44 kilograms of khat.

Initial legal procedures were completed, and both the suspect and the seized drugs were handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security agencies urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking activities by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 994 in other regions, as well as the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995, or by email at (Email:[email protected]). All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
