Saudi trade authority launches TRES digital platform for trade remedies

The General Authority for Foreign Trade has launched an integrated electronic system for managing trade remedy procedures, named TRES, as part of its digital transformation efforts and to protect Saudi industry.

The new system aims to streamline the processes of complaints, investigations, and reviews related to trade remedies, in line with international trade remedy regulations.

According to the authority, the interactive platform enables beneficiaries from various sectors—including local industry, exporters, foreign producers, importers, users, public interest parties, and government entities—to manage and monitor procedures electronically.

The launch of TRES is part of the authority’s efforts to enhance transparency and efficiency in handling trade remedy cases and to support the competitiveness of national products in local and global markets.
