Jazan authorities prepare 500 parks for National Day holiday

Jazan Municipality and its affiliated local councils have prepared 500 parks, including waterfronts and public gardens in Jazan city and across the region’s governorates and centers, to welcome residents and visitors during the Saudi National Day holiday.

Spokesman for Jazan Municipality Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khayyat said preparations included landscaping green areas, setting up seating zones, maintaining facilities, playgrounds, walkways, and open spaces, as well as implementing cleaning and tree-planting programs. Operational efficiency of field teams has also been enhanced to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for visitors.

He added that specialized teams are monitoring and addressing issues as they arise and are keeping track of service levels at targeted sites to maintain their readiness and capacity for increased visitor numbers.

He noted that the municipality’s National Day plan aims to provide a variety of leisure and entertainment options to enhance quality of life and offer a suitable recreational experience for residents and visitors. He confirmed that inspection and field tours will continue to ensure the safety of facilities and the delivery of municipal services at the required standards.
