Nuclear regulatory authority highlights critical national and international role

Saudi Arabia’s Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission has stated that its work represents a significant and sensitive responsibility at both the national and international levels. Regulatory bodies worldwide, it added, are striving to utilize and implement advanced technologies in this field.

In a statement posted on its X account, the commission said that since its establishment, and despite its relative newness, it has adopted digitalization, advanced digital technologies, and artificial intelligence. These efforts, it noted, are part of national initiatives and adhere to unified standards to achieve greater consistency and harmony at the national level.
