Three Ethiopians arrested in Asir for smuggling 60 kg of khat

Border Guard ground patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested three Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations and attempting to smuggle 60 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat.

According to a statement on the Border Guard's official X account, initial legal procedures have been completed against the suspects, and both the detainees and the seized contraband have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

Security agencies urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom. Reports can also be made to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995 or by email at [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
