Border Guard in Asir arrests smuggler with 120 kg of khat

The General Directorate of Border Guard announced that land patrols in the Raboua sector of Asir region have arrested an Ethiopian national for violating border security regulations by attempting to smuggle 120 kilograms of khat.

The Border Guard stated that initial legal procedures have been completed, and the suspect along with the seized narcotics have been handed over to the relevant authorities.

The Border Guard urged the public to report any suspicious activity by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 994 in other regions of the Kingdom. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and without liability for the informant.
