Jordan backs Saudi Arabia's measures to protect security and sovereignty

Jordan welcomed the UN Security Council statement and its condemnation of the missile attacks launched by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia, as well as attacks targeting commercial vessels.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates emphasized the importance of the statement, which stressed the need to adhere to international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216, and rejected actions that threaten regional security and the freedom of maritime navigation.

The ministry reiterated Jordan's solidarity and unwavering support for Saudi Arabia, backing all measures the Kingdom takes to protect its security, sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
