Saudi ministry recalls over 84,000 Toyota Camry cars for dashboard defect

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has announced the recall of 84,639 Toyota Camry vehicles, model years 2025 and 2026, due to a defect in the dashboard system.

The ministry explained that the defect may prevent important information from being displayed to the driver, and could also cause the turn signals, warning lights, and alert sounds related to the ignition key and seat belts to malfunction, increasing the risk of accidents.

The ministry urged owners of affected vehicles to contact the local dealer, Abdul Latif Jameel, at the toll-free number (8004400055) to have the necessary programming carried out free of charge.
