Saudi leaders offer condolences to UAE vice president on death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, following the death of his brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

In his message, King Salman said: "We have learned of the passing of your brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. We extend to you and the family of the deceased our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. We ask God Almighty to grant him abundant mercy and forgiveness, to admit him to His vast paradise, and to protect you from all harm. To God we belong and to Him we shall return."

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also sent a cable of condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

The Crown Prince said: "We received the news of the passing of your brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. We send to you and the family of the deceased our heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy, asking God the Almighty to grant him abundant mercy and forgiveness, to admit him to His vast paradise, and to protect you from all harm. He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive."
