Crown prince briefs cabinet on call with Pakistan’s prime minister

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman chaired the cabinet session held today in Jeddah.

At the start of the meeting, the crown prince briefed the cabinet on the content of a phone call he received from Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as well as the outcome of his meeting with Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of US Central Command. The discussions with both parties covered the latest developments in the region.

The cabinet strongly condemned the continued deliberate attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia on civilian targets and civilians in the Kingdom. The cabinet affirmed that the security, territorial integrity, and resources of Saudi Arabia are inviolable, and reiterated the country’s legitimate right to defend itself, protect its sovereignty, citizens, residents, and vital interests, in accordance with the UN Charter and international law.
