Civil Defense declares end of threat in Khamis Mushait, urges vigilance

The Saudi Civil Defense has announced that the threat it previously warned about in Khamis Mushait has now passed, urging citizens and residents to continue following official instructions to ensure their safety.

In a statement on its official account, Civil Defense clarified that the danger which prompted an alert from the National Early Warning Platform for Emergencies has been resolved. However, it emphasized the importance of avoiding gatherings and refraining from taking photos at incident sites.

The authority also highlighted the importance of contacting emergency number 998 in case of any incidents, stressing that adherence to instructions helps protect lives and property.

Earlier, Civil Defense had issued a warning to residents of Khamis Mushait about a potential threat, urging them to follow official guidelines until the situation was declared over.
