Mecca Agreement unites key regional powers, analyst says

Political analyst Abdulrahman Al-Mulhim said the Mecca Agreement brings together countries with significant strategic weight in the region and will have a major impact on the regional landscape under Saudi leadership.

In an interview with Al-Ekhbariya TV, he added that this agreement marks a historic turning point that has drawn global attention to its importance. He noted that Saudi Arabia leads both the Arab and Islamic worlds, making Riyadh the central hub for both.

He continued that the agreement, which includes three Arab and Islamic countries—Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan—represents a major strategic force recognized globally. Saudi Arabia, he said, is a major economic and political power and possesses a significant air military fleet.

Al-Mulhim also highlighted that Pakistan is a major nuclear military power with well-organized strategic forces, while Turkey, a NATO member, has substantial military capabilities. He concluded that this alliance will have a significant impact on countries in the region, with Saudi Arabia leading the way toward a comprehensive joint defense strategy.
