The statement called on the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities and implement relevant resolutions, particularly Resolutions 2216 and 2817.
The ministry further reaffirmed Kuwait's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its sovereignty and security, and to protect its citizens and residents. It stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia is inseparable from the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
