Ministry of Islamic Affairs awarded ISO certification for quality management

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by its Agency for Planning and Digital Transformation, has been awarded the international ISO 9001:2015 certification for meeting global standards in quality management. The certification covers strategic planning, quality management, performance measurement, continuous improvement, documented information management, and beneficiary experience assessment under IAF:35 requirements.

Khaled bin Mohammed Al-Thunayan, Deputy Minister for Planning and Digital Transformation, said the ISO certification is a recognition of the ministry’s efforts and reflects its commitment to applying best practices and international standards in quality management and enhancing operational efficiency.

He added that implementing the quality management system has strengthened institutional work methodology, unified procedures, improved process efficiency, supported performance measurement and continuous improvement, managed documented information, and measured beneficiary experiences, all of which contribute to higher service quality and beneficiary satisfaction.
