International media and international affairs specialist Dr. Fahd Al-Mulaiki has warned against sharing unreliable information.

Speaking in an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, Al-Mulaiki said that circulating unverified information paves the way for the spread of rumors and the distortion of facts, as information can change when passed along according to personal perspectives and impressions.

He added that forwarding messages from one channel to another, without considering that each source has its own angle and without verifying the original source, can create confusion among the public.

Al-Mulaiki further explained that when information is relayed from one person to another, it depends on the messenger, who may exaggerate or highlight negative aspects, creating issues related to the way information is conveyed.
