Saudi, Maldivian Islamic affairs ministers discuss cooperation in Jeddah

Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh received Maldivian Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed today at his office in Jeddah.

The meeting included cordial discussions and addressed several topics of mutual interest, with a focus on ways to enhance cooperation in Islamic affairs to support Islamic work and promote the values of moderation, balance, and tolerance.

Al-Sheikh emphasized the ministry's commitment to strengthening cooperation and communication with Islamic organizations and institutions worldwide, exchanging expertise in areas of shared interest to serve Islam and Muslims, and to spread the principles of moderation and rejection of extremism.

For his part, the Maldivian minister expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, praising the ministry’s programs and initiatives to promote moderation, tolerance, and Islamic cooperation.
