Citizen Account program deposits SAR 3 billion for September beneficiaries

Saudi Arabia's Citizen Account program deposited SAR 3 billion today as September support for beneficiaries whose applications were completed, with more than 9.9 million eligible recipients included in the 106th payment cycle.

Abdullah Al-Hajri, General Manager of Communications for the Citizen Account program, said the total amount disbursed since the program's launch has exceeded SAR 290 billion, including SAR 2.9 billion in compensation for previous payments. He added that 72% of beneficiaries received support in this cycle, with the average support per family reaching SAR 1,470.

Al-Hajri noted that more than 2 million heads of households benefited in this cycle, representing 84% of the total, while the number of dependents exceeded 7.5 million.
