Firms must notify job applicants of interview results within 30 days: HR ministry

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has confirmed that failing to notify job applicants of interview results is a violation of approved regulations and guidelines.

The ministry stated on X that employers are required to inform applicants of the outcome of their interviews within 30 days of the interview date.

It added that reports of non-compliant companies can be submitted through the ministry’s app if they fail to adhere to rules regarding job vacancy announcements and interview procedures.

To report violations, users can visit the ministry’s website or app, select 'Labor Law Violations,' then 'General Obligations,' and choose 'Failure of the establishment to comply with regulations on job vacancy announcements and interview procedures' as specified by the ministerial decision.

These requirements are part of employers’ obligations outlined in the ministerial decision regulating recruitment procedures.
