Crown prince attends state dinner hosted by French president at Élysée Palace

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman attended a state dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace on Monday evening. President Macron welcomed the crown prince upon his arrival.

Earlier, the crown prince and President Macron held a meeting at the Élysée Palace, where they discussed the historic and strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and France and ways to enhance cooperation across all fields. They also exchanged views on recent regional and international developments and coordinated joint efforts on these issues.

Following the meeting, the crown prince and President Macron chaired the inaugural session of the Strategic Partnership Council between the two governments. The council discussed several agenda items, and the meeting minutes were signed.

The crown prince and President Macron also witnessed the exchange of several agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two sides, including:

An agreement to extend and amend the bilateral accord on cultural, environmental, tourism, human, economic, and heritage development in AlUla province.

A declaration of intent between the two countries' defense ministries to strengthen defense partnership.

A memorandum of understanding to explore the development of a new world-class, multi-use entertainment destination in France.

A memorandum of understanding between the ministries of communications and information technology to cooperate in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and skills development.
