Saudi defense minister, Pakistan army chief discuss joint response to attacks under Mecca Defense Agreement

Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman said he met with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir.

He added that both sides praised the outcomes of the meeting of chiefs of staff from the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement countries. They discussed the recent attacks targeting Mecca, as well as civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, and affirmed their commitment to continued joint efforts to confront these assaults in accordance with the Mecca Defense Agreement.
