Special license plate auction opens Sunday on Absher platform

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Traffic will, starting Sunday, allow those interested in acquiring special license plates to bid electronically for available plates through the “Electronic Plate Auction” service on the Absher platform.

Users can participate in the auction by logging into Absher, selecting “My Services,” then “Traffic,” and clicking on “Electronic Plate Auction.” They can then choose the type of vehicle plates to view available options and place bids online.

The General Directorate of Traffic encouraged those interested in special license plates to take advantage of the service and participate in the auction, which enables all bidding procedures to be completed online via Absher without the need for in-person attendance.
