Mawhiba opens registration for schools to join gifted classes program

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has announced the opening of registration for public and private schools wishing to join the "Mawhiba Classes" program, starting today and continuing until October 20.

This initiative is part of Mawhiba's efforts to expand its network of partner schools, offering specialized training programs and educational consultations, as well as advanced curricula in science and mathematics for participating schools. The program also provides access to a group of gifted students.

Currently, the "Mawhiba Classes" program is being implemented in more than 240 schools across 23 cities throughout the Kingdom, with over 11,000 students enrolled at various educational levels during the current academic year.

According to a statement from the foundation, applications to join the program undergo several evaluation stages based on international standards, including application reviews and site visits, before qualifying schools are approved as part of the partner network.

Enhancing support for gifted students

The "Mawhiba Classes" program builds on the ongoing efforts of Mawhiba and the Ministry of Education to identify, nurture, and prepare gifted students, providing educational environments that foster their scientific knowledge and skills and support their readiness to compete at national and international levels.
