Riyadh Royal Commission: eligible first-year applicants need not reapply for Real Estate Balance program

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has clarified that applicants who were deemed eligible in the first year of the Real Estate Balance program, but were not selected, do not need to reapply for the second year, as their information is already registered on the program’s platform.

The commission began accepting applications for the program’s second year in Riyadh on Sunday, August 16, 2026, via the program’s online platform. Registration will remain open until Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

The commission stated that applications open at 3 p.m., emphasizing that early registration does not provide any advantage, and all applicants have equal opportunities throughout the application period.

Eligible applicants include married citizens or those over the age of 25, provided they meet the program’s requirements, notably not owning property previously and having resided in Riyadh for at least three years.

Regarding first-year applicants, the commission confirmed that those who were found eligible but not selected through the electronic draw do not need to reapply. However, those who were not deemed eligible last year must reapply for the second year after meeting all required conditions and regulations.

The commission stressed that submitting an application does not guarantee final acceptance, as all applications undergo electronic verification to ensure eligibility requirements are met.

Subsequent stages include the end of registration, eligibility verification and announcement of results, receiving objections, conducting the electronic draw for eligible applicants, and then completing off-plan sales procedures in accordance with approved regulations.

The commission urged those interested in the program to use only the official online platform and channels, warning against dealing with unverified links or accounts.

It also confirmed that the call center and customer service channels are ready to respond to inquiries and provide support regarding registration and all stages of the Real Estate Balance program.
