Saudi Passports Authority showcases mobile counter at LEAP 2026

The General Directorate of Passports is showcasing its mobile counter device at the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion during the LEAP 2026 conference and exhibition, held from August 31 to September 3, 2026, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Mulham, north of Riyadh.

Visitors to the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion were introduced to the mobile counter, one of the latest technologies designed to streamline travel procedures for elderly passengers and people with disabilities. The device enables the collection of biometric data, facial imaging, and passport data reading quickly and efficiently, without waiting, while ensuring the highest levels of security and reliability.

During the exhibition, the Passports Authority is also presenting its most innovative digital solutions to facilitate the movement of travelers through international entry points, as part of its commitment to enhancing digital operations and leveraging modern technologies to improve service efficiency and user experience.
