Saudi leadership in military alliances highlights political influence

Political analyst Saad Rashid said Saudi Arabia’s leadership of international military alliances reflects its political influence and prominent standing on the global stage, as well as its ability to form coalitions that contribute to regional security and stability.

Speaking in an interview with Al Ekhbariya TV, Rashid explained that Saudi Arabia plays a key role in safeguarding maritime navigation and securing vital sea lanes, especially in the Bab Al-Mandab Strait, as well as protecting fuel tankers and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

He stressed that these efforts help ensure the smooth flow of global trade and strengthen the security of maritime supply routes.
