Najran municipality intensifies environmental sanitation in 22 eastern districts

Najran Municipality has intensified environmental sanitation campaigns across 22 districts in the eastern part of Najran city, carrying out comprehensive spraying and pest control measures to reduce the causes of insect proliferation and enhance public health standards.

The campaign covered 167 homes, 21 government buildings, and 6 parks, utilizing three types of spraying: ultra-low volume, standard spray, and thermal fogging. Mobile field teams and vehicle-mounted units, along with on-foot crews, conducted spraying operations to cover targeted locations and improve the effectiveness of pest control efforts.

The targeted districts included Iskan, Nakheel, Nahda, Dara, Rawda, East Airport, University (A, B, C, D), Rayman, Furoosiyah, Industrial Area, Ruwaikbah, Shakwan, Taslal, Bani Kalb, Sahban, Khara'a, Haira, and both North and South Ghowaila.

Municipality spokesperson Abdullah Al-Fadhel stated that these campaigns are part of ongoing efforts to maintain public health and limit the spread of insects, emphasizing that field programs will continue in various neighborhoods and locations to promote environmental sanitation and improve quality of life.
